The Las Vegas shooting was not a lone shooter. There were mulitple shooters, I forget dudes name but he was an arms dealer and whoever he sold the guns to did the attack and killed him. Las Vegas shooting had belt fed weapons, you could hear it. Something like a m240 or m249. That event did not happen at all like the news told you.
How does a belt sound different from a mag/drum? If you're correct, it would have had to be a 249 so there are only 5.56 slugs to be found.

That sounds like a wild conspiracy. Do you have any sources?

Your perspective on weather or not you would run into a gun fight changes with age.
Young people tend to think they are invincible and don't think about the consequence.
I used to do some stupid shit when I was in my early-mid 20's.
When you get older your prospective/priorities change.
When you have kids they come first which includes being there for them while they grow up.
This however is the opinion of someone who has not had to deal with mass shootings where he lives so...

You strongly implied you could outgun the Mandalay (Las Vegas) shooter. You even quoted Bobbytwonames when you said it.

Bobbytwonames:

Your response as you quoted Bobbytwonames:

See post #371 and tell me how any logical person would interpret your post along with the post you quoted.

Edit: typo
NOT ONCE DID I SAY THE MANDALAY BAY SHOOTER!! YOU ARE MAKING ASSUMPTIONS!!! If I wanted to specifically say "The Mandalay Bay Shooter" I would have said it!!! Again, logic, common sense and intellect are thrown WAY the hell down the road. That's the damn problem with too many people. They want to make assumptions and run with them. Don't ******** assume!!! Ask what the person meant then they can explain it to your slow wit having *****.

So when you quote/reply to someone it doesn't mean your comment is related to the quote? I guess I've been doing it wrong. Calm down. You can clarify if you misspoke or misread, but you can't backtrack and blame others because you said something ridiculous.

It was the amount of shots fired and the rate of fire. Something like a full auto ar-15 has a different fire rate than a m249 and makes a distinctly different sound. They have different gas systems too and different ways the ammunition is fed and it all makes a different sound. I don't know if these videos even exist anymore, this was back when it happened. There were multiple interviews with multiple on ground witnesses that reported multiple shooters and there were ambulances called to more than one hotel location. There were multiple windows broken out, everything from the actual scene that I saw and the videos listening to the gunfire indicated multiple shooters. I have no idea where to find those videos now days because we're living under such censorship. There's more details about that attack but idc what people believe about it really. Reality is being force fed to us at such a high rate that it's so hard to convince people of anything. That's not directed at you either, just in general. So much information out there that's it's overwhelming. Believing what the news tells you at face value is a wild conspiracy. They want a life without you in it. I do hard research into events like these when they happen, because there's always pieces missing to the story. I didn't just catch this event in passing, I studied it for weeks lol.

Paddock was clearly an arms dealer. His whole family seemed to be into something. I guarantee you Paddock was dead before the shooting started. He got burned by whoever was up there with him. Idc when people use the word conspiracy theory to demonize me. People who use their brains to think are labeled conspiracy theorists, because thinking is evil, in today's world. So is researching. And telling the truth. Calling someone a conspiracy theorist is about as effective as calling someone a racist now days, it just doesn't have a true meaning anymore. It's been overused to try to hide attention away from things that are clearly real, like Jeffrey Epstein's island. It's ok to disagree with me, it doesn't mean I'm a conspiracy theorist. I have looked at many photos, video footage, witness interviews, footage and pics of the room where Paddock was found, security video footage, flight records of some local aircraft around that time. Evidence to me clearly looks like there were multiple shooters and they wanted to cover that fact up. That's not a conspiracy theory. It's just what it looks like when everything is put together, if I was a detective.

@Buck i said it sounds like a conspiracy theory but it wasn't meant as a jab towards you. Sorry if it came across that way. I've read witness' reports of multiple shooters, and I've read analysis stating it sounded like multiple shooters because of the echo.

My somewhat relevant personal experience was shooting my buddy's 338 Lapua. We were firing across the Missouri River, and our slugs were landing in the sandy "beach". A fisherman in his boat yelled at us and said our bullets were ricocheting towards him. There's no way in hell a bullet hits soft sand and bounces back towards the shooter, but that was his interpretation based on what he heard. It's certainly possible that that's essentially what led to the theory of multiple shooters, and it would also have an effect on the sound of the gunfire.

Honestly, in cases involving mass murder, I go with the common story, because 1) it's exhausting to follow every other possible scenario, 2) you'll never know if alternate theories are accurate anyway, and 3) it's disrespectful to those who lost someone to keep them doubting what actually happened.

There were ex-military people I watched who said it sounded like belt fed weapons and multiple shooters, just from listening to the gun fire. I heard it myself in the same video, it was a widely distributed video at the time. I wanna know if I'm being lied to and why. Like the Gulf of Tonkin incident that got us into Vietnam, that event was completely fabricated event, basically. And we went to war with a whole country because of that lie, people died, Americans too. How many got cancer from agent orange or had ptsd or whatever, you name it. So that's why I don't find it too exhaustive. I don't want to accept a lie at face value. I accept what people say as what they say, but not as the truth. I look and see if i can find the truth, based off what everyone says. It's easy for the media to control a narrative. I just like to know when it's truthful or not. Lying to a whole nation must pay a lot of money.

That's why people need guns man. You and your family should be able to protect yourself bc that's your family.

What is wrong with you though? That's a strange way to end a thought. Evil people are going to try to kill good people through any means, and through any means you should seek to protect yourself. That's just human life on earth 101.

That ending was a sarcastic response to an earlier post aimed at me saying that we are all going to die anyway. That's all.

Mandalay Bay was one shooter and he wasn't an arms dealer. There was one window broke where the shots were coming from. As soon as he killed himself, the gunfire stopped. Let's not ignore the facts in order to believe a conspiracy.

I didn't misspeak. He... now read what he said, it is directly what I responded to, HE said my little concealed hand gun doesn't stand a chance against a shooter with an assault rifle. He said "A SHOOTER WITH AN ASSAULT RIFLE" Not "You wouldn't have stood a chance against the mandalay bay shooter" Reading and comprehension used to be taught in school... I guess BLM and fairy dust is more the norm now.

Ha. Ok Mr. Perfect. In the future can you try to be more clear so us idiots can understand? Because your current writing style is prone to misinterpretation by everyone but you, and obviously you couldn't possibly be wrong. Obviously i need to read everything verbatim and ignore all context going forward. Why bother quoting someone if it isn't related to your comment?

I don't think his little handgun stands a chance against a guy with an assault rifle in pretty much any situation. His adrenaline would be sky high and he would have to get pretty close to the shooter to have a decent chance of hitting anything. The shooter would probably be wearing a bullet proof vest as well. Too many Call of Duty heroes on the internet.

I have pro marksman patches at 50ft with a pistol and have no issues WELL past 500 yards with a rifle. I know where to point the dangerous end of the gun. As far as adrenaline, speak for yourself. Don't presume to know how I respond to stress or situations that require a person to be able to react quickly and accurately. I have been charged by wild boars, Bucks (no pun Buck) cougars and coyotes, all of which can kill you. I am alive, they are not. Why, because I am not a coward or a victim. Some people cower in fear, some people run, some people make a difference.

To comment on one of your responses Joe... if you have a concealed carry card but would choose to hide... the CCC does nothing for you, and neither does the gun. You might as well sell it to someone who would use it to defend themselves or others. I am not hacking on you but it is honestly a waste of money at that point. Kind of like car insurance... you get in an accident but choose not to call your provider... wasted money.
