If it was between your eyes, game over. You'd be dead before you hit the ground. Would that be worth it to you?
You worry too much... If this, If that. I am willing to bet you make some poor decisions or have missed out on some cool shit because of "what ifs".

They didn't shoot so I don't worry about what ifs. I act. I don't cower in fear and worry that I may die. We are all going to die, there is NO STOPPING IT! I would rather fight to live as long as possible rather than die a coward.

You aren't very smart if you are running to confront a shooter who has an assault rifle and you have a concealed 9mm. It's easy to say how you think you would react to real gunfire. Good luck!
You're right... cause I would run up in front of him flailing my arms about saying hey, I am gonna shoot back at you!!!

You aren't very smart if you think just because someone has a bigger gun they are going to win the fight.

I make decisions based upon the situation that I'm in. Protecting yourself and making good decisions is not being a coward. I hope that you or your family are never trapped in a small place with a crazed shooter or shooters. I've been in both, one at the age of 12, it isn't fun. Go be a hero though. Reckless behavior usually ends up in death anyway. We are all going to die anyway, might as well speed the process up.

Save yourself........................ Save others. Hmmm. I hope that your family isn't in a situation like that with YOU. Clearly you are more worried about your own well being than that of those around you, including family. Sounds selfish and cowardly to me... just my opinion though.

Like I said, there are those who act and those who would be victims. Choosing to be a victim almost guarantees you will speed up the process... and without a fight. I think you need the luck, not me.

I wasn't armed at the time genius. Immediately with the name calling, expected. How am I a victim by avoiding gunfire when I am not armed? I was frickin 12 when the first one happened. I guess that you would've ran towards the shooters and tried to disarm them, unarmed. You keep saying that I'm a coward and selfish for some reason. I was in a public place three times, unarmed, when gunfire broke out. You tell me what I should've done? I don't appreciate the coward talk, I was fukking unarmed, and 12 years old the first time. What would you do if you were in a public place, unarmed, and gunfire broke out? I'll hang up and wait now.

You would be dead before he even heard you. You would get scooped up with a shovel and be a statistic. Take it easy tough guy. I'm talking about if you are unarmed in a public shooting. First, you would shitt your pants. Then, you would run to the nearest exit. I hope that you don't tell your family to rush a gunman unarmed. Not everybody has a concealed carry. Even if I was carrying, I would stand my ground and tell my family to get the helll out of there.

I’ve been in a few sticky situations with armed degenerates in my former profession, and what I know for sure is that you don’t know how you’ll react in these intense situations until you’re already in an intense situation. I’ve seen a tough guy whom I assumed had nerves of steel turn tail and run at the first sign of gun play. An active shooter in a public place as people are shopping for their groceries is something I can’t relate to. There’s no time to prepare yourself mentally for something like that. Unless you’ve seen the actual battlefield in the military, just getting yourself calmed down and thinking clearly enough to accurately sight in the shooter is likely to be a problem. Even if you’re not technically afraid, uncontrolled adrenaline is just as bad when trying to calm down to make a kill shot. Too many people think it would be like their weekend target shooting sessions at the local range.

You are incorrect. It only takes 1 bullet. 1 Well placed bullet. A bump stock or a high capacity magazine doesn't make a superior marksman. It means wait your turn and make it count.
You don't stand a chance with your handgun against a rifle at anything over 50 yards, and that's being generous. In reference to the Jason Aldean shooter, the guy was thirty stories up, and you would've had no idea where he was if you were at the concert. Do you concealed carry a sniper rifle? I'm quite pro-gun and I hold a concealed carry card, but you sound like you've played too much Call of Duty. In that particular situation, your best bet is to find cover. Holding a gun when you die doesn't automatically make you a hero.

Not knowing how you'll react isn't a question of morals; it's a matter of fear, adrenaline, and survival instincts. Basically the fight/flight/freeze response.

Jesus Christ. I don't wonder anymore about how the country elects people like Biden.

How the **** can a sane person engage in conversation anymore? Nobody said rush anyone when you are 12 god damn years old. Nobody said anything about engaging the shooter who was 30 stories up with a handgun. If I am carrying a handgun do you seriously think I am talking about engaging an active shooter several hundred yards away? How ******* accurate is a hand gun??? If one is going to carry a handgun, then to use it for defense means, the culprit would have to be close enough to be able to accurately use the hand gun. Why does everyone throw common ******* sense out the window just so they can argue????

That's why people need guns man. You and your family should be able to protect yourself bc that's your family.

What is wrong with you though? That's a strange way to end a thought. Evil people are going to try to kill good people through any means, and through any means you should seek to protect yourself. That's just human life on earth 101.

You strongly implied you could outgun the Mandalay (Las Vegas) shooter. You even quoted Bobbytwonames when you said it.

Bobbytwonames:
That Mandalay Bay didn't seem to be fumbling around too much. He killed 60 people and was never even fired upon. It happened 10 minutes from my house. Your little concealed hand gun doesn't stand a chance against a shooter with an assault rifle, especially if he has a 100 round magazine and a bump stock. Stand down!

Your response as you quoted Bobbytwonames:

See post #371 and tell me how any logical person would interpret your post along with the post you quoted.

Edit: typo

The Las Vegas shooting was not a lone shooter. There were mulitple shooters, I forget dudes name but he was an arms dealer and whoever he sold the guns to did the attack and killed him. Las Vegas shooting had belt fed weapons, you could hear it. Something like a m240 or m249. That event did not happen at all like the news told you.
