The US has 12.4 auto deaths per 100,000 inhabitants per year. The UK has 2.9. Sweden and Switzerland has 2.2. More cars = more deaths. We need more auto regulations. All cars should be horsepower limited. Why do you need 400 hp when the speed limit is 65? More common sense auto laws! Loud stereos are a hazard. They should be restricted to 100 watts!

Uhhh what did people use before we had military? Civilian gun laws have everything to do with that. It also keeps us safe from our government. That’s the point. America fought its way into existence with guns and maintains itself by the ownership of guns.

The people who will be affected most by gun control laws are the poor and inner city minorities. People with money will be able to afford to have guns within the law, and the people in rural areas just won’t have to abide by the laws. Out here where I live, local law enforcement is more likely to come over and target practice with my illegal m-16 while drinking a beer than hem me up with legal problems. The only way to eliminate gun violence, is to eliminate guns completely in my view. Walking in the middle of the road, which is what “common sense gun control” actually is, will do next to nothing to curb gun violence. Stopping Joe redneck from buying a high capacity magazine at Bobs gun and tackle shop is one thing, but stopping Billy Crack Corn from buying one in an alley in Chicago is quite another. One guy is easy to stop with new laws, the other doesn’t even know what the word law means.

The US has the highest use of psychiatric pharmaceutical drugs as well...many mass shooters are on SSRI's, amongst other legal and illegal drugs. There's as much of a tie to SSRI's and radical Islam as there is to guns in mass shootings, or mass deaths. Let's see, the US kicked Italy's and Japan's butt in WW2, we saved France from Nazi Germany, Canada is just America-light, we beat Russia economically in the cold war. Australia is a continent made up of previous prisoners and slaves, no wonder they don't have many guns. Every country on there that isn't the US can also be slaughtered by their government at any time without any defense against it. Mass shootings are actually not a large problem, statistically. The news just controls your mind into thinking it is because they take one event and put it on millions of TV screens and cell phones. Mass shootings are actually not that common at all, and there is way bigger problems killing way more people than guns are. They ****, but mass killings are just part of human life here, since the beginning of time. The method doesn't matter, we gotta change the reasons why people want to mass kill others. Banning guns leads to more mass killings, in the United States.

You fail to mention how most gun violence in the entire US happens inside of democratically ran cities, where they like to put black people in ghettos and keep them as a permanent underclass, so there's a lot of drugs, gangs, ************, violence, etc. You take the democrat ran cities out of the gun violence stats for the US, the US per capita rate of gun violence drops very low.

New York Times is a heavily biased new organization. Why isn't more countries on there? What's funny is that most of the gun deaths happen in places where guns are the most restricted, in the US. Idk why people want less freedoms. That's insane to me.

This is a little older but it's still the same story. Almost all of the violence in America comes out of big cities and most of those big cities are democrat ran, which means they don't work well, people are miserable, more reasons for people to lose their minds in a big unnatural city ran by somebody like Bill De Blasio.
