So this just happened to my brother. Some jackass making a right turn from a stop sign turned into his lane (inside lane) instead of the curb lane (outside lane) which is an illegal turn and my brother hit him. The guy admitted he pulled in front of my brother and admitted fault.

He is shopping around at the moment. The adjuster from his insurance company is supposed to contact him tomorrow. He still owed a little over $4K on the car... no gap insurance, but fully insured otherwise. Both the at fault party and my brother have the same insurance company. We will see how THIS plays out.

Hopefully it all works out good ... I like my dart overall it's a fully loaded limited ..They drive good .. I have a new performance diverter valve I need to put on it this week.. they are supposed to help throttle response .. mine has a little over 50,000 original miles it's a 2013

Yeah, they wanted to charge a ridiculous monthly rate to have gap insurance. They are messing with him right now. He ask about a rental car and they said until they can determine who was at fault, he could have a Hertz rental at the "Progressive" rate. The other driver admitted fault, the cop also said the other driver was at fault. ******* insurance companies.

This is the accident... my brothers car is the green car. The guy crossed two lanes to make an illegal left turn through the opposite direction turn lane that has obstructions that used to hold 4 foot tall reflectors that have been knocked down by this very same illegal turn over several years.
