Sundown X15 D2 wired to 1 ohm in ported box. 2k amp not enough looking into Orion hcca 3000.1dsplx. Thoughts or other recommendations thanks!!

Holy shit.
Going from 2k to 3k won't do much. I'm not a fan of the X. You want an upgrade drop a dd700 or used 9500 in on a 4k. Switch an x15 out for a hdc3 that sat in the closet and gain 2db. It sounded shitty but it banged

If he’s actually getting 2k. A jump in ballpark do 750-1000 watts will be noticeable.

just got done watching a dyno side by side test of that orion amp vs the sun down 3kamp the orion killed it in every way possible including price! i was actually fooled thinking i was watching an old orion usa amp with the numbers that beast put up, youtube that orion im sure the video will pop up of that dyno test when he ran real world music thru orion it was more then double its stated watts

That Orion amp does no where near the power in real life that it did on the dyno. My buddy had one. I can’t remember what he clamped out of it. I’ll see if I can find the picture of it.
