No I measured it "not connected" face up of course and they're reading 3.5/3.7ohms per coil. Sub weighs 52lbs. It works. The motor looks original and says MESO on the bottom. Doesn't look like it's been tampered with or rebuilt. I can wire it to 1 ohm as my amp is the 1ohm version but I didn't see any showing 4 ohm subs in 18's? I was wondering on wattage? The others are showing 1500rms and 3k max.

Well, I found a little sticker with a serial # I guess I overlooked? (Maybe a half inch) lol. When I looked it up, it's showing a Meso 2.0 DV2 so it's 2ohm. 1500rms & 3 k max. I'll check my battery also in my Fluke. Still shouldn't be that high for just 2 ohms? Thanks for your help everyone.

put your prongs together and see if there's resistance on your prongs and subtract that from the 3.7 you see. If there's no resistance then those coils were abused to hell.
