2 sundown SA-10 or 1 x12?

I’m having to change my system up because one of my subs died. For an SPL setup should I go with a pair of Sundown SA-10s or one sundown x12? Either way I’ll be powering at 1100 watts rms since I don’t want to put too much excessive power on my alternator and both setups will be rated at 1500. Was wondering which would be best for loud bass and feel in my car.

Okay I am probably going to do the dual 10’s. What if I were to up wattage to 1500 rms. My current alternator is 145 amps. Would the votage drop hurt sound enough to make a bigger system sound worse than the smaller setup?

Yep E10s would be louder on that power.

With limited power like that a pair of 10s would be louder than a single 12. 

The x series isn't an spl sub anyway, its designed for low end extension.

2 10's gets my vote....because more cone area vs. 1.
