Not sure what you mean by Budget friendly??PPI Phantoms or an NVX maybe.If you have more room Id look at maybe a JBL EZ

Question is how much power do you need on the sub channel and at what ohm load?

The Rockford p1000-5 is a solid amp maybe a touch overpriced

I went dual compact amps and spent very little

im in the 2 amps camp. sure, one 5 channel is a nice tidy package, but a 4 channel and a mono is far better at delivering good power and its not overworking what boils down to 2 amps in one chassis
