Best componets for around 100 bucks?

Looking to spend around 100 bucks on a decent set of 6.5 or 6 3/4componets. Wanting to stay passive for now and just looking to try an set up a good front stage on a budget.....Not trying to win any competitions. Ive been reading good things on jbl and pioneer and would like other opinions. Should i ditch the rear 6x9s? And amp recommendations under 100 would be welcome also.

Current setup.....

95 F150 EXT Cab

HU...JVC KD-R895BTS

Front... CERWIN-VEGA H7652 HED 6.5 (Sounds like garbage compared to the MB-Quart 6.5s that died)

Rear....MB-Quart 6x9

Subs...2X MTX Thhunder 7500s

Mids amp....Some old black/chrome SPL Gorilla 2 channel

Sub amp....Hifonics Brutus BRX1116.1D

Upgraded amp with all 0g big 3 and 0g ran to back under seat.

Runs around 14.7 full tilt and 14.1-14.4 with 5 100 watt KC lights on

I have a set of jbl gto609c. They sound ok and they take a good beating but dont expect any miracles for that price. Some days when I listen to them I am actually really pleased but other days on some music when I am listening a little more critically they're obviously budget. I personally also want a little more volume out of my components but I might just be asking for to much. I keep debating on upgrading but theyre good enough to keep me happy for now. So all in all I think theyre a good budget speaker.

A ton of people want to find some great speakers at $100.00. In my opinion, it does not exist and you need to spend just a little more to get into the high end. Try Orion HCCA62.

They are hard to beat at the street prices I see them going for.

If you want to go to $300.00 or more, there are more options.

Just because it's bumped, I got a set of open box ID CXS64 comps for $145 from sonic. But after my last round of buying products from them, I will never buy from them again. Packaging is horrible and I have tried to cancel 2 orders because it's backordered and have left countless emails and voicemails with no response. But they sure do waste no time in charging my card.

i dont know why nobody has mentioned getting some raw drivers from dayton and some passive x-over units and some tweets that come with a passive filter.

tweeters youll see in MANY folks sigs

mids people around here are quite fond of

https://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-dc160-8-6-1-2-classic-woofer--295-305

these xovers might not be ideal based on frequency, but there are other choices. but here is a start for the passive x-over for the mid

https://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-25k-hpf-8-high-pass-speaker-crossover-2500-hz-12-db-octave--260-1870

small amnt of soldering and youll have a set of components that are right in the price range you want and will sound pretty awesome

This is more what i was looking for.

Inteva6184 -- could you tell me your experience with the GTO609Cs?  I have a set in the rear deck of my car and never listened to them up close.  But I recently installed the GTO600Cs and by comparison, the 609s sound limp, no highs at all, just kind of muffled.  Is something wrong with the speakers, or is that how they are?  Thanks.

This^^^^^^

Ive had two OBS F150s and you will have to build a spacer as the window will hit the motor of the mids.
