Featured How do I properly connect a high-pass filter (B100 XHP) to the midrange speakers in my BMW F30?

I’m in the process of upgrading the audio system in my 2015 BMW F30 318d xDrive. I’ve already removed the door panels and am now trying to install the UG BMW B100 W midrange speakers. The speakers are plug-and-play, but I need to install a high-pass filter (B100 XHP) to ensure that only midrange frequencies are sent to the speakers.

Here’s what I’m dealing with:

• There are two wires coming from the car’s wiring harness to the speaker: one is Green/Yellow, and the other is Red/Black.
• I’m unsure about how to properly connect the high-pass filter to these wires and the speaker itself.

I’ve attached a picture of the door with the door panel removed, showing the current wiring situation. Could someone guide me on:

1. Which wire (Green/Yellow or Red/Black) should I connect to the input side of the high-pass filter?
2. How do I correctly connect the output side of the filter to the speaker?

Any detailed instructions or a wiring diagram would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

What are we looking at here? I don't see any Green/Yellow or Red/Black wires. And what hipass filter are you using?
So these are the wires i’m talking about. They were previously connected to the speaker. It’s the ETON B 100 XHP filter.
