At 1 ohm with 12.4 volts you get 1510 watts.

At 1 ohm with 12.8 volts you get 1635 watts.

At 0.5 ohms with 12.8 volts you get 1890 watts.

Average those last two (0.7 is roughly half way between 0.5 and 1)... so around 1750 watts at a 0.7 ohm load with 12.8 volts supply.

Should be plenty to daily that sub.

A battery should sit at 12.6 volts (2.1 volts per cell w/ a total of 6 cells). While the vehicle is running, your alternator will put out around 14.4 volts. If you have a good electrical system, you can maintian that even w/ a power hungry amp.

will it be fine if my voltage drops really low?
i used to have a 81000d and it poped on me , im assuimg because my voltage dropped super low... i have stock electrical with no big 3 or anything... with a crusty old battery

i know its ghetto... it will be upgraded soon enough

Running a 1500-watt amp on an electrical system like that is just not a good idea... at the LEAST do the big 3 and replace that "crusty old battery." The 1500Ds are tough but if you keep that voltage really low for extended periods you can damage them like pretty much any amplifier out there.

Turn it down until you upgrade that electrical system!
