i just placed an order for a sundown 1500... i have an atomic ap/spl 12" ... rated @ 1000 rms... i plan to run it @ .7 ohms ...

think it should be enough? ive been told atomics can handle up to 2kw daily... of course the sundown wont put out 2kw, but ive been told that they get up to 1800ish below 1ohm

I don't know any Simon Fuller //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Should I?
He's the guy who destroyed our culture by creating American Idol and sticking those idiotic judges in there haha:blackeye:

not only will that be fine for daily...but ur sub might laugh at you and ur gonna wana put 2 sundowns on it eventually //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The AP/ SPL will not be able to handle the power that the SAZ-1500D puts out RMS. So the question should be can your AP/SPL handle the SAZ-1500D? See pics below.

2- 15" AP/ SPL's powered by 2 VFLs seeing less than 1500 watts each due to trying to hold on a 160 amp fuse for 30 seconds.

I beg to differ. I'm running my AP/SPL off from an IA 20.1 @.7ohm. I've had it hooked up now for over a month with no problem. Even after intense prolonged playing the AP shows no signs of failure. Just b/c your AP/SPL failed in your setup does not mean that all AP/SPL will fail.

Try 3 of them and they were not mine I have an APX. Three of them were smoked this weekend by some of my team members. But the APX handles two SAZ 1500's like its nothing.

gotta agree with kicker on this.......those atomics will take 1500-200w without breaking a sweat....if they blew up, sounds like wither a defect or user **** up....

will it be fine if my voltage drops really low?

i used to have a 81000d and it poped on me , im assuimg because my voltage dropped super low... i have stock electrical with no big 3 or anything... with a crusty old battery

i know its ghetto... it will be upgraded soon enough

Wired to option #1 would be ideal for those subs. I have quite a few 10s. in the proper enclosure, tens can get down pretty good with the right...
