Theres a ton of amps - your probably looking for something thats between 1000-1500 RMS...might be a little different if you decide to go with 2 or more sub instead of 1.

steve has the best option of any that were suggested. the jbl is a good cheap amp nothing more than that. there are MUCH better amps out there than the jbl just have to pay a lil more for them.

I know a guy that will sell you 2 idmax v3. for 600 shipped.... um u should do what I was about to do get 2 shivas and a jbl amp u can wire the 8ohm voice coils to 2 ohms and get around 1330 watts rms perfect for shivas 2 shivas 250 dollars jbl amp 274 thats 524 dollars lets say 100 for a box thats 624 77 for second skin damping 50sqft 701 dollars then u sould spend the rest to get a 4 channel amp to powere your incar speakers 8 i think the us acustics 4 channel goes for 80 pluse shipping that way you would get around 3-4 times youre inside output (so u Could acually hear the words) enough bass to here you down the block and some damping material so your car wont rattle.........if anybody can think of better for his money please do

you can get the RE XXX 15" for 399 plus shipping, so prolly around 450 or less... I bought one and it is a really good sub. Just hook it up to any of the amps that are previously mentioned and you should have a good system

that is predominatly a spl setup there......but im w/ steve....tho....peace
