    LOC with Remote Turn-On

Time after time of turning the car on leading to partial discharge of the battery. This partial discharging and then recharging when engine operates the alternator. This can lead to the memory effect, and just in general a loss of battery function due to higher extent of crystallization. I'm...

    LOC with Remote Turn-On

I'm going to be putting one of my Fi SSD's in my 2010 Honda Civic, and I was wondering if I would run into any problems using an LOC with Remote Turn-On (e.g. Amazon.com: PAC SOEM-T 2-Channel Premium Line-Out Converter with Remote Turn-On…). For instance, if it will slowly run down my battery...

    Any thoughts at all?

    FI SSD Subbox

I'm probably going to be powering it with 240W, and I'm curious if having such a low tuning frequency would have a dramatic effect on my output. Do you think it will be substantial, intermediate, or negligible? As far as port area goes I was thinking of just doing 12in^2 by having just 1 4"...

    FI SSD Subbox

E-mailed Fi, it's been almost 2 months with no reply so I'm coming back to this thread. Would you say 1.5ft^3 tuned at about 18 Hz would be sufficient? What kind of port area would I need?

    FI SSD Subbox

I'm planning on building a subbox for my room (156ft^2-ish) with my FI SSD that I have lying around. I want to port it, and I want it to be able to hit the low notes. I'll be using this box somewhat for theatrical purposes, but prolly more for listening to music. What kind of volume/port area...

I think it sounds pretty good. The bass is pretty decent, I'd recommend it.

Negative. I'm a Doctor of Pharmacy and Chemistry double major. I looked into Chem E, and I would've went to Purdue, but I like Indianapolis more than West Lafayette.

    Magna *** Laude Build

back to school, back to school, to prove to dad that i'm not a fool.... and there aren't any other solutions other than moving the inductors.

    Magna *** Laude Build

Also, you shouldn't place your inductors that closely to each other. One way to alleviate the problems of having them interact is to put them on different axes.

    Budget Home Theater System

What PV said is true. What I'm doing right now is outputting the audio via optical cable to the receiver, and I'm outputting the video via HDMI cable. That way you won't have to buy one of those really expensive receivers. By doing so you'll also lose the 7.1 capability, but if you want to be as...

    the woodies

I thought zobel networks made it more "receiver friendly" by making it a constant resistance network. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that pertains to his question somewhat since he asked at what impedance (about) should the receiver be.
