I was just at a local shop and was looking at the new kenwood excelon dualmag 6.5" component set.

I'm not sure how new they are, so I was wondering if anyone has any experience with them.

I already have Kenwood Excelon 6x9's in the rear and, correct me if I'm wrong, I thought it MIGHT be a better idea to use the same type of speaker so I don't have any cancelation or other issues.

PS. I do not want to get rid of my 6x9's even if you all say I should. I realize that front stage is the important part, but for now, I feel that I will keep the 6x9's.

As well, any other suggestions for a SLIM mounting depth, budget component set would be appreciated. (Yes I searched on this, just looking for other opinions)

Thanks,

Craig G
