Hey, I'm pretty inexperienced when it comes to amplifiers. I'm upgrading to a new 1200w amp pretty soon and from researching, have narrowed it down to two options. I know a lot of people swear by rockford fosgate but I also know this is one of their lower priced products so I'm not sure how to take that. I'm hoping some of you who have experience with these amps can give me some advice. Here are the two

I recently bought the Rockford Fosgate R1200 and I love it. Runs very cool and its quite easy on the electrical system. The fact that it is $250 on Amazon is rare, they are trying to get them off of lots of online resellers. So in all reality its not really a cheaper amp. The biggest thing I lovea bout it is the form factor, its incredibly tiny for its power.

Agreed with this here. Since you have the unit pulled out of the car/dash...test it at your car battery directly for operation. very simple to do...

Amp/voltage help
Yeah, put the probes on the power wire and ground wire of the amplifier. Multimeter on DC. Do not put it on the wires that go to your speakers. M
