Amp RMS Question

ok so your subs are dual 2 ohms each at 250 watts rms per sub so all 4 subs can be wired to 1 ohm , as far as amp , budget ?

You'd be better off running two subs and an amp on each of them with your current setup. I looked up your amps, they would do no lower than 4 ohms bridged. Series 2 subs, 1 to each amp at 4 ohms bridged, or get a better amplifier that will handle a bridge at 1ohm.

Here's a great amp that would absolutely rock those subs with excellent SQ. It's the PPI A600.2, you could run two subs on each channel at 300 RMS per side...I know it's 200 less than RMS on 2 of those subs but the PPI Art series amps are amazing, underrated and pretty efficient. For $160 shipped you can't get any better. Here's the link, it's FS right now in the classifieds.

If you want to buy new and get something that's 1,000 RMS and worth a crap you're gonna spend more than $250...unless someone knows better than I do.

That amp will work those subs like a pimp works a hooker. Those PPI Art amps are amazing. Just run two subs to each side...on each sub, take the positive of one voice coil and connect it to the negative of the other voice coil. Then run the positive and negative left over on each sub to the amp...you should have 4 positives and 4 negatives after it's all said and done. Take the two subs on the right side and connect the two positives and negatives to the right output of the amp...do the same with the left side and you're good to go. 4 subs running 2 ohms stereo at 300x2. You may actually get some good imaging out of your subs running them stereo too. You'll enjoy it man.

I hate to say it, but you can't really compare a PPI amp today with an O/S Art series amp...it might have more power, but the SQ won't even come close. I'd go with an A600.2 over a new PPI amp any day of the week.
