What kind of amp for these?

anything between 600 and 1000 watts at 2ohm.

they are single 4 ohm voice coils, and can be wired together at 2ohm or 8 ohm. or you can run a 2 channel amp with each sub on each channel, but you should NOT BRIDGE THEM ON A 2 CHANNEL AMP *unless* the amplifier explicitly says that it is "2 ohm mono stable"

and 99% of 2 channel amps are NOT stable below 4 ohms.

1000w RMS at 2 ohm. Too many to list. Find something you like, then post it up

iam a big fan of the older fosgate and mtx amps so lets say a fosgate db1000.1 or an mtx 1000d or 81000d would be good.

If you go with a mono amp, which you pretty much have to with those subs, make sure it puts out its full power at 2 ohms. more and more mono amps these days put out full power at 1 ohm now. The fosgate BD1000's for example are to be played at 1 ohm not 2 ohms like they use to be. Same thing with that hifonics that was suggested. Good amp, but not what you want for your subs. Just keep that in mind when shopping around.

If you have the cash, grab an Alpine PDX 1000.1. They put out full power from 1-4ohms

And for the price of those subs, you might as well grab the PG RSds. They come in D4 too, so you can buy an amp that puts out full power at one ohm (generally much cheaper and easier to find).

what he means is, if you can find subs that have DUAL 4 OHM VOICE COILS, aka DVC4 - then you can get more power for less money.

aka, an amp that will do 1000w at 1ohm, will only do around 600w @ 2 ohms.

a rule of thumb is, a little more than half the power for twice the resistance.

Should be fine. Just do the big 3 and get a good battery. You'll only be running 1200w RMS plus whatever the front stage is.
