zx2500 is shutting down???

well i installed my stereo the other day i have yet to turn it up really loud till today..i cam across a prob when i turn it up the amp shuts down on really deep bass notes...what would cause a prob like this????does it need more power?? please help

ya thats what im figureing case the gain on the amp is at 0 bass bosst is 0 and the decks sub output is -18 and it still shuts down...anybody have some batts for sale?
