zx 1000.1 fried?

Went out and got in the buick the other day and noticed i had no bass so i popped trunk and notcied the amp was into protect. I turned all the knobs all the way off and it turned on, As soon as the gain hits half the amp goes into protect and shuts off. Checked ground and its secure same with power. Fried?

no.sry said that wrong.me and my friend hooked it up..it worked great for me no problem at all..then when we hooked to his 13w6 it would start going into protect as we did the same stuff u did to it with like the gains and all.

all i can find is a refurbished one..that is sold on hifi sound off of ebay and those come with a kicker 90 day warrenty..
