i like the second one, a little flat though, i'd add some pads to it, or some synth... just my $.02 have you tried using cubase? the newer version is nuendo... much more options and a way better program for mastering and effects, plus the piano roll has more options, especially if you are doing this with no midi controller. all of the vst instruments from fl work in it too...

no prob, i used to use fl alot, still do for some projects, now if im not using my mpc2000 and my roland it's cubase or reason, but mostly cubase. you can add vocals right over the track and then master everything right there. (although you can do this with fl)
