The funny/ironic thing is that LCD monitors consume more energy when displaying black compared to white and, given that she should be using an LCD screen if she's an environmentalist, she's actually consuming more energy than she would by using a search engine w/ a white background. And, if she's still using a CRT monitor, then she's a fvcking hypocrite and should /herself immediately.
But, of course, hippie environmentalists never think things through because they're retarded ...

Also, I'm not sure about what the actual percentage is of LCD vs. CRT monitor usage, but I would imagine it's a pretty even split nowadays, so the question remains ? Is Google's black page really saving any energy ?
