Zed Minilith?

Do you think using a Zed minilith on a RL-p 12 dual 4 is underpowering it too much? The minilith is rated for 400 wrms at 2 ohms but SSA.com says it probably does closer to 480rms. I would ideally like to buy a well made amp that does between 500-600 watts at 2 ohms for around 250 since i'm kind of strapped for cash, but well made and strapped for cash don't always jive(haha). Any suggestions for amps or input on my original question is appreciated.

thanks

Im betting it outs out even more then 480, its miles ahead than almost any other amp in its price range...I have one and its absolutely sexy, didn't have the heart to get rid of it when i was running low on cash //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Cant wait till I throw it in...

BTW you probably wont notice the difference between 480 and 600...

look for a d3 800.1they are roughly 250-300 and 600rms at 2 ohm
I just looked into it, looks good... I just saw one on eBay for 204.49+shipping - do you think this is legitimate?

Yeah see that's what I was thinking and now that I have someone's opinion that owns a minilith I'm probably going to buy one. thanks!

Two Minilith's can be strapped together and produces 1,200w x 1 @ 2ohms.
If you think you need more power than one amp, save up and buy a second.
Wow I never thought of that but that is a really good point since the rl-p can handle 1200 in a good set-up right?

1200 full tilt is not the best, but it can take it.
Yeah I don't really feel comfortable running that much power right now anyways... but back to my original question(s) - would the Minilith be significantly underpowering a RL-p?

and

Does the D3 I posted above look like a legit option or no?

Thanks for the replies!

As for the Minilith,

everyone that has one has reported back that they are doing more power then ratted, and 600+ watts is plenty for an RL-p. Mine ran fine on 450 for a while. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
