ZED Draconia II or Arc audio KS 300.4???

Did some research and have narrowed it down to these two amps... Will be powering a set of comps (unknown atm) and rear will be bridged to power a sub (probably a 10w3v3 in a sealed enclosure). Any users with first hand experience with these brands or specific models??

the arc, no gaudy styling and it's much cheaper.

I also recommend finding out what enclosure suits your cabin the most. I don't say this because of out put I say it for bandwidth.

no unless you have experience with going active or have some one who could help you, you will not gain anything by going active.

they sound just about the same as the arc does, clean power for the price.

Active gives you more options. Really it's not rocket science, just adjust crossover frequencies and gain between mids and tweets until you like the way it sounds. I'm very happy with the Zed amps. Sound good, last forever, and hold good resale value. Stephen is also a really good guy and you'll get great customer service. They are also very very efficient.

Not to take away from the ARC though, they have some nice stuff as well, but the Zed is my pick.

I've had a few ARC's in my time and all were very nice amps. I highly recommend them. The ones I used were all from the XXK line...2100, 4050, 1500, & a 4150.

ZED amps are very nice as well.

They are both efficient designs. I don't think you can go wrong with either amp.

arc audio 300.4 will run a whole system. i had one and it work wonders.
