Youth's Relationship Dynamics fcking confuse me...

Okay, so I've known this kid since High School started... he was in my English class... and he was an outright idiot. His antics weren't even funny... but tenth grade came around, and I saw him walking around with hot girls left and right, with his arm around them and ish... and I was just so confused. He dated a lot of reasonably attractive girls... some were dumb (well, most). But he's got with a lot of generally good girls (Good as in 'Don't want to rip your hair out when you're around them' kind of person...)

His most recent endeavor is this...

I've known that girl for a while, and she's really awesome. I don't understand how she can date such an idiot?

Can someone please shed light on this? Because it's getting ridiculous. She's in a completely different aesthetic and mental ballpark.

btw: they're both 18. So it's legal.

EDIT:: To sum it up, he's dumb, ugly, pimply-faced, lacks any sense of notable humor, lacks any sort of artistic skill.

Basically EndofDays, except... I think I prefer this kid. At least he's tolerable.

And on the last day of school, of his senior year, he got expelled because he flooded the auditorium.

I can only attribute it to guys who act like asshats supposedly have confidence. Women like confidence. Really, the guy is a sad, lonely tool who seeks the approval of everyone and everything.

One of my friends told me one of my bad traits is that I'm "too smart." I guess it intimidates people?

I mean, I can get girls. But, most of the time, they're the keepers... I rarely have one-night stands, or random sparatic flings. Most of the girls I get with are really intelligent people who can have in-depth conversations about philosophy and the such... and while that girl is really cool. She isn't too smart.

I just don't understand it... 'cause that same girl will come btch to people like me that her boyfriend is an idiot, immature, etc... and I'm like, "Yep, should've dated me. I have a bigger dick anyway."

We need a female's standing on this...

as stated, women do like confident men. they also like to btch or they would be bored and not get as much attention from friends. also in high school once guy dates a certain girl another girl that maybe doesnt like her so much will go after him just to take hime away from her or she is a freak and just wants to do everyone she can.

women are complex. you will spend the rest of your life trying to understand them. probably never will completely.

i would think its how he acts. Lets say hes outgoing a fun guy and makes these girls laugh. Mayb he has a little money a nice car on the road and he goes out and has fun . There might be drugs or some kind of drinking goin on. From what i have learned u can be a so so looking guy but if u can some how get the light to shine on u when u go out the *****es some how find there way over to that guy. Mayb hes just a playboy and u dont know it.

don't worry bro everything will happen for you. it's all good. act like everything is all good. that's a key to success. if that guy gets girls and then it's all good. just be a cool guy and confident but not overly cocky and act as if everything is good and they'll come for sure
