It was actually Thomas Edison, after he left home in 1837 to research his lightbulb idea. He traveled to India in search of what he called "God's Light." He later found a light bulb, in the High Temple of Onisha. The record was burned, he was the only one that knew of its existence. He patented the idea, returned home in 1852, and became nationally known. On his day of accepting the Nobel Peace Prize, for giving us light, he said "You are my friends, I am glad to be home..."
Am I right?
