Your opinion...por favor

Subs are good, front stage looks good. I gues the dual amp will have to make do for now, just be careful with the gains.

I don't know much about that hifonics amp, you say its 650x4? or is that @ 4ohm?

btw - those Q's are FI's sound quality driver, so it will sound good, and get loud to I'm sure. I havn;t heard any FI stuff yet, but I really want to.

1 x 650 Watts RMS @ 4-Ohms

1 x 1300 Watts RMS @ 2-Ohms

1 x 2000 Watts RMS @ 1-Ohm

my bad can someone explain how much power would go to each sub

would it be 1300 each at 2 ohms?

the power rating is the total power the amp will put out when shown the given load.

if you hook up a 4 ohm sub it'll put out 650W. if you hook up two 2ohm subs in series (2+2=4ohms) it'll still put out 650W (so 325W each).

the fi q's are dual voice coil so you'd want two subs, each with two 4 ohms coils. wire them parallel-parallel and you'll have a 1ohm load. the amp should put out 2000W (so 1000W each sub)

but hifonics amps are known to be over-rated, so it'd probably only put out around 1800W (i'm not really sure exactly, but less than 2000W).

if you've got the money you might want to look into a bit nicer amp. maybe a sundown 1500d wired to 0.5 ohms or kicker kx2500.1 (i'm sure other people can recommend good, high power amps).

if you're unfamiliar with ohms law do a lot of reading at http://www.bcae1.com and maybe some google searching and you can learn a lot.
