Your favorite SQ disc?

Speaking of Paris.... Anyone got Supertramp's Paris disc? I haven't heard the CD but used to have the tape way back in the day before I got a good system. It was always one of my favorites and I am hoping the SQ on the CD is worthy of a good system. That is a mighty fine live album.
In my searches yesterday, I found this on Wikipedia:

In July 2006, the original master tapes of the album were rediscovered in the barn of the band's drummer Bob Siebenberg, along with video footage, not seen since the time of recording. The tapes were sent to Cups 'N Strings Studios in Santa Monica, California, for digital remastering. The tapes were initially in bad technical shape, but were successfully transferred. The video will be sent to Peter Clifton, the creator of Led Zeppelin's 1973 concert film The Song Remains the Same, in New Zealand, for further editing.

I've been listening to Metallica recently. And I find they're album dubbed Metallica has some really nice guitar work/sq.

Funny since I never liked metallica in the past. or heavy rock in general.

it would be cool in a car, but when you start the engine, run the a/c, drive downt he road, that extra quality you paid for gets covered by road noise, engine noise, etc... the market isnt big enough to make products just for SQ competitors on a large scale.

Not true. on my buddies setup there is a very big difference between his normal cds and his dvdaudio discs while driving. Even for the same album.

Then might I suggest their "S&M" disc (or the DVD-Video by the same name). It is them playing with the San Francisco Symphony. I find it very enjoyable and I am at best a marginal fan of Metallica.

Oh and BTW, nice car. Those 300Ms are very nice, very nice indeed.

his music almost puts me into a trance, he plays **** good. they have a vid on yahoo somewhere of him playing midnight, crazy chit.

the G3 live album is worth checking out too.

I was disappointed by the album, actually...

EPCOT's "Reflections of Earth" owned it for midbass punch and overall dynamics //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Satriani! The boy is amazing.

Any Satch fans ever heard of Marc Bonilla? He is a guitarist in the vein of Satch that used to be in the band Toy Matinee (their most famous song was "Last Plane Out"). Anyway, Marc has two albums (both out of print), both of which I recommend highly. "EE Ticket" and "American Matador" are the titles and if anyone wants them and can't find them, feel free to PM me for a burn. Of the two, "EE Ticket" is my clear favorite.
