Only songs I've ever liked from Aesop are Daylight and...Alchemy I think is the name of the track?

Its either a love or hate thing with him it seems. Personally, I can put Labor Days in and just push play. I like very song on that record.

I think NAS is one of the most UNDERRATED mc's ever. There's rappers and then MC's. You cant compare Pac and Nas to Nelly(what the f is he doing being mentioned anyway) and most rappers out now a days. I like him but Jay-Z could have been on of the illest mc's ever but choose to rap. Money over music. Hammer and Vanillia ice sold more albums then Styles P and Jada. WOW

George, you like Lets Get Free huh? That is in the ranks of the best albums very made IMO. And this coming from a white boy who was raised in the country. Many cant appreciate it but it's a flat out awesome album.

yea man. that album is awesome. gotta thank gauntlet for lettin me in on it. everything thats said flows sooo good and isnt this crap you hear everyday. my favorite song would probably be Hip Hop, or They schools, although all the songs on there are good and i dont skip any of em. the RBG cd is good too from dead prez. i really like D.O.W.N. awesome song right there.

Agreed on Jay-Z. He has real talent IMO, but he doesn't use it, not by a long shot.

George, I completely agree. That album is on point in every aspect. Favorites for me would be They Schools, Hip Hop, Psychology, and Animal in Man. I've listened to their new stuff a bit but it just doesn't compare to Lets Get Free. After making an album that good, the bad thing is you have to follow it up, which is almost impossible.

No Cunninlynguists fans out there? Besides me I've seen no mention of them in this thread. Favorite songs by them across all three albums I've got (Will Rap For Food, Southernunderground, Sloppy Seconds Vol I) are....

I love just about everyone out of Qn5.

Southernunderground is one of my favorite albums- gets constant play in my car. So does Will Rap for Food....don't like Sloppy Seconds all too much.

Sloppy Seconds has alot of hit and miss tracks. Pretty much those are the only tracks I listen to off of Sloppy Seconds, and they are all very good tracks IMO. WRFF and Southernunderground are amazing albums IMO. Its bad when really good songs get skipped because there are amazing songs on the album. I can listen to both albums without skipping a track for the most part, as all their stuff is good.

...so so far QN5 is batting 1000 on this end. The most stick-out song of the bunch IMO is Celly by Extended Famm. Great concept and they pulled it off nicely. Also, good to know about the Sloppy Seconds stuff. I completely forgot about the Skew It On The Bar-B Freestyle, that is the one other song I listen to on there. Will do on checking out the other stuff. Out of all of them I like Cunninlynguists work the best so far.
