hmm I dont have a specific top 3 but some favorites..

Slug (Atmosphere), BTNH, Brother Ali, Cee-lo's new album is amazing, Mase his comback wasnt spectacular but doesnt take away from his previous stuff, Blackstarr- Talib's new album is amazing, Mos Def's is so-so but I'm still in the middle of getting a feel for it, then Nas too, Pablos new album was pretty good too.

Those are just my personal favorites to listen to, not what I would consider the greatest for the genre where Pac, Biggie, KRS-1, Eminem, Dre, and those guys would be way up there.

And let me touch on Nelly for a second, he is a fun rapper to listen to IMO, his new album(s)(

George, you like Lets Get Free huh? That is in the ranks of the best albums very made IMO. And this coming from a white boy who was raised in the country. Many cant appreciate it but it's a flat out awesome album.

Right now getting heavy rotation from me are Murs because I like how he's very down to earth on his raps, he'll have fun with some songs and be serious with others, Cunninlynguists are getting very heavy play due to the fact that Kno is a freakin genius, and AesopROCK's Labor Days album, for his different style, very good production, and a message behind his songs. I've also had the Little Brother album for quite some time now and it never gets old. Those guys are great and 9th Wonder is amazing. Murs, Cunninlynguists, AesopROCK, and Little Brother have been about all I've been listening to for the past week straight.

As far as all time greats that is a tough call for me. I like Outkast as they have proved they have staying power, and they are always on their own style, never copying others, even if they aren't the most talented guys, they are still very good. I also feel that 2PAC is very good even though I cant get into alot of his stuff, he always had a message and was great at getting it across. I think Nas is classic as he has also proved he has staying power and while some of his stuff isn't my style, alot of it is.
