I'm looking to upgrade my mids and am not sure what direction to take. I currently have SSA Evil mids on 180w @ 4 ohms crossed at 1800hz.
When I first got these in they seemed like the midrange was kinda harsh, either they calmed down or I got used to it. Lowering the crossover did seem to help. Tweeters are crossed at 2200hz.
I dont really have any complaints, just looking for something different. Maybe neos? Never heard neos before... What do you guys run/recommend? I have some pwxs somewhere I never installed because the SSAs looked nicer... Are they an "upgrade"?
