dB result: Legal 151.7 (on one coil- 2 amps went into protect before reading) NO testing with the car/system resonance whatsoever

Retest with the new box at all frequencys full tilt. My bet is that your loudest note is now below your tuning. There is a bigger lesson here for those paying attention...

Current Daily Driver System (waiting on subs):

Subwoofers: 2 re SE 12s (first generation w/boob)

Box: 2.2 cubes tuned to 41hz per 12 (Same box as with 9915s and IA DP 15s)

Mic/Sensor: MY new Termlab

Song/Tone: 47hz

dB result: Legal 148.86 (The amps have more power available, but the subs mechanically need a smaller box so right now that number is excursion limited right now...)
