Skinks - Lizard care
Just a few additions to that though. Crickets are always going to be better than mealworms, the hard outer shell they have (mealworms) can be difficult to digest for some lizards. If you find him eating you out of house and home I can help you get a dubia roach colony going that will sustain itself and provide free food for pretty much ever (takes a bit of time to start though).
I would look for either a 12" or 18" or maybe even 24" reptisun bulb, you can get them on
amazon for like $20. Stay away from the coiled (compact) UV bulbs, they can be quite harmful, also don't stray away from reptisun, other manufacturers bulbs are usually crap. I can provide supplemental reading on this subject if you want, but the bottom line is, reptisun is the ****. You can get the fixtures at home depot or any hardware store for pretty cheap as well.
Heat lamp can be any household incandescent bulb so long as it provides the right temperatures he needs. A lamp dimmer helps a lot in fine tuning the temps.
If you have any other questions or anything just ask or pm me, I've been keeping reptiles for years //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
