I'm tired of people complaining about everything.

All these damn over dramatic animal commercials. You know we still have people homeless and starving in our country? Have you seen the look in some of these peoples' eyes because of all the pain they've been through? And these dumb fucks are worried more about an animal's well being than a fellow person. I do not believe that animals should be mistreated, but get your priorities straight.
My buddy was in scouts for a while, they were doing volunteer work. They were helping a poorer part of the neighbor hood, where an elderly lady and a handicapped person lived. Locked in a room was a mentally retarded child who had soiled themselves and pretty much shit all over that little room. This kid had been in a room with ***** all over the floor and not being fed properly for who knows how long. No clothes, just a soiled diaper. WTF. We still have very unfortunate people living in those kind of conditions yet people are still worried about a fucking dog or cat? I'm just saying, what are people thinking...

The problem is most of the homeless people, if you try to help them, would stab you in the back and rob you if given the chance. Offer most a job and they likely won't work or will just rob you and leave, give them free housing and they will destroy it, offer to buy them lunch instead of handing them money and they'll get beligerant (I've tried it). Many are drug addicts or alcoholics who refuse to get help and are generally, largely in their position by choice.

An animal on the other hand will more than likely be greaful and faithful if you take it out of a bad situation, feed it, and care for it.

Both are sad, but people for the most part can help themselves and if they chose not to can FOAD. If you feel so bad about some street person, take them in your house and put them up for a week or two. Give them a job and come back and tell us about it in a couple weeks.

i can agree yes, the animals are not able to fend for themselves. but the example used was kids who didnt have the ability to do something or take care of themselves. that to me is more wrong than someone beating a dog. yes a life is a life but what would you jump to save? a kid about to get hit by a car or a dog about to get hit?

thats not what gets me.. its us sending money overseas to help children in need or families in need when we have them right here. Why the hell would we send any money ANYWHERE when we are trillions in debt and have TONS of people still out of work... thats whats ridiculous
