It took the stereotype of how black people talk to each other and brought it to a new level... They were all like "Yo dawg wassup homie fa real yo hook me up wit dat shawty I gots to hit it you know... les chill in the cut for lil bit, yo..."how?
Wow, sorry I insulted your favorite movie, man. Chill out.how the FVCK is it racist against them. your gay.
well justin, i must tell you. when we all watch movies featuring black people doing such things and talking in such a manner, we are only seeing one segment of african-americans. so you're right it was a type of stereotype, BUT it's only a steeotype because those are the majority of images of african americans that are shown. there wouldn't be such stereotypes if we were showing movies that constantly showed denzel washington, sidney poitier, bill cosby, micheal eric dyson, montel williams, oprah winfrey, spike lee and many others. It took the stereotype of how black people talk to each other and brought it to a new level... That's exactly what I mean. By portraying that stereotype in such excess, people who aren't as familiar with the black race will look at that and be more prejudice...well justin, i must tell you. when we all watch movies featuring black people doing such things and talking in such a manner, we are only seeing one segment of african-americans. so you're right it was a type of stereotype, BUT it's only a steeotype because those are the majority of images of african americans that are shown. there wouldn't be such stereotypes if we were showing movies that constantly showed denzel washington, sidney poitier, bill cosby, micheal eric dyson, montel williams, oprah winfrey, spike lee and many others.that dancin in the rain was real f'n corny!!!!!!
right again, and the sad thing is studio keep makin stereotypical comedies because we (black people) and many others support them by going to the movies to see them when they're released. most black movies that makie it to major release are comedies. bad comedies too , not intelligent comedies. we only get 2 - 3 black movies to major theaters a year and more than likely, they're 'shawanika's day at the salon' or some simple shit like that. when of the worst titled movies i ever saw ( i never actually seen it, just commenting on the title) was called ' i accidently domed your son' staring kurupt and some other bums. That's exactly what I mean.
