My post was in direct response to your post which claimed:

a) That's a redundant statement when taking into consideration that an Acura is a Honda at the end of the day. Same as an Infinity is a Nissan and a Lexus is a Toyota.

b) You didn't specify that you were speaking in reference to your average Civic or Integra owner - you simply stated that neither honda or acura are fast. no uproar, i was refering to the honda civic vs acura integra fight within the thread. Ofcourse I had to bring up the slowness of both them and be an ahole like usaual. About 2 months or so ago, some dude beside me was bangin his gears so ofcourse I bit, needless to say he handed my *** to me. Civic heavily modded running a t3/t4 hybrid. But dude was cool and we pulled over and talked for a while. He didnt have the normal million stickers and huge wing, but i thought it was the normal tard with a fart bucket and an intake thinkin he was bad. Luckily I didnt have a hoe with me, I got pwned lol.

Acura and Honda aren't "pretty much" the same company.

They are completely the same company. Acura being the upmarket branding of various Honda products.

That's like saying that Premier and Pioneer are "pretty much" the same company or that eXcelon and Kenwood are "pretty much" the same company.

Case in point would be the country/continent of Australia ~

The same cars that we are familiar with here as being Acura-branded stateside are available there...but badged as Hondas.

Ergo - when they were still being produced you could buy a Honda Legend in Oz.

Until recently you could go purchase yourself a brand-spankin'-new Honda Integra which, naturally, became the Honda RSX.

"Pretty much" the same company? That's a really weird statement...
