****ing mids won't fit. But holy **** are they ****ing sexy as all hell.

Dayton DA175 7" mids.

Nismos14 swears by them, and by god if they don't sound good I'm going to be pissed. I'm hacking up my door panel tonight, gonna borrow a buddy's dremel tool and ****.

SOB. These better sound good.

What I need to make them fit - 1" baffle, hacked up door panel, and a whole lot of cursing.

Why don't you make the baffle and try them out before touching the door panel?

For mids that are pretty cheap I would be hesitant to cut up a door panel.

I want to upgrade to a piss large mid anyway, probably a 8" Dayton RS225, so hacking will be needed anyway. I can always buy a new door panel off ebay.

I'm not going to use the jigsaw on my door panel. Been there, done that. I'll take it slow and use a dremel.
