adio is back!!!,

does anybody have a unlocked phone they bought here in America but used in far off places in the world i.e. African, middle east or south Asian countries???

i need to buy a great back-up phone but I don't know whether to get unlocked or unlocked international for overseas travel. and if I do get unlocked international should I focus on a certain continent?

You dont want a international version of anything.

You are limiting yourself as to what or where the phone can be used compared to one you can use in america and internationally with full 4g lte support.

Phones like honor, redmi, oneplus, blue phones, and all newer samsungs can use just about any band you need.

All the phone brands i listed dont need to be unlocked since they are factory unlocked by default and samsungs are the only ones that need us unlock.

The international version is dual sim versus single sim.
My galaxy note 8 works in other countries and my sons galaxy s8 is the same..
