What would everyone do with that? I know that it doesn't affect the performance of the speaker any but it makes me sick having brand new things broken. Would you just leave it be or send it back for waranty?

It's not completely off its just the plastic post it sits on broke, the tinsel still goes to the speaker.

looks like so...but it also looks as if the the connectors are held to the basket by a screw. remove the screw and the nut connecting to the leads and then have them send you a new one. The replace.

or you can make a new one out of piece of wood, abs, etc.

It looks like the plastic is only a perch for the two push-in connectors, which are also removable. It may be easier faster this way.

I don't think glue/epoxy will hold because you have to push-in on the push-in connector and may rebreak it.

Yea its just a plastic post I'm sure they can probably send out a replacement. Man it was packaged so well too. That box was inside a bigger box with those "air cushions" in it. Big thanks to 95stroked1500 as this was not a bad job on his part, he's a great seller.
