well worth it. now i have a DB drive 15" sub in my eclipse along with a 3000 watt Alphasonik amp that hits close to 156.3 on db.

a 15" in an eclipse on 3000w rms could very well be in the 150s given the right conditions... right box, right electrical, etc.
