yaaas.

Sperrys rock. As much as I like sneakers and sandals, some occasions require dressing like a grownup. They fit the bill nicely. Good compromise between casual and formal.

Hey bro, we can tell that you're a fucking retard by the way you type without punctuation. You don't need to go to the trouble of amplifying that fact by bragging about wasting money on shoes you don't wear, living paycheck to paycheck and actually having to stop and think about spending $400.
hey i passed in honors. thanks

i always have a abundance of funds in my bank account.

living paycheck to paycheck has never been something that fits my lifestyle.

im frugal. i save almost everything and once in a while splurge on myself when its not going towards my kids.

but thank for putting your 2 cents in:)

I understand protecting our feet for some kinda/somewhat expensive shoes/boots whatever but 600+ in my book, is just ridiculous. I see Nike Air jordans on Cl for 600 all the time....outragous and just paying for some name.

Some are pretty desirable even 6 months or so after release. I used to collect them and I'd buy 2 pairs of a new Jordan of a special color and about 6 mos. after sell them for double and have a free pair for myself.

Thats because you're poor. I sold a collection of Nikes I had a few years ago for thousands.

agree that spending alot on shoes is somewhat misunderstood for most people. some people are happy with $30 payless shoes. i grew up not having much so now that i have the $$ i like to buy nice stuff. the most expensive pair of shoes i bought was $325. i have the first pair of lebrons still in the box never worn tucked away to sell 30 years from now. and the way i treat my shoes and clothes they last for years. i have a pair of flights that ive had for 3 years they look mint. and another pair of alternates i bought at the same time that still look brand new. the white is a little discolored, but nothing that a shoe doctor cant fix, and is where i i usally take them every few months . so spending $2-250 on a pair of jordans in my book is just fine.

and i still have a pair of jordan 17's that came in that breifcase lol

I buy one pair of shoes each year that cost between $100 and $200. I keep my old ones and wear them when I know I'm going to get my shoes dirty. After three or four years (or when they don't fit anymore), I'll throw them away or give them away (depending on their condition).

I don't have a ton of shoes, and I don't spend a ridiculous amount on them. I don't buy super-cheap crappy ones though.
