for the money pr subs get pretty loud, but you need them in a ported box with a few more hundred watts

its awsome i dont know why yall are so... idk mean about it christ. Im happy with what i got, a sub that F'in pounds the shit out of my suzuki forenza, one of my best friends who paid 1500 for his system is very impressed with mine and having the cops called on me, which is the first time ever. And inside the car my ears hurt like shit. Yes it is in the Memphis universal ported box... and yea its my first but ive been in plenty of cars with subs and mine is at the top next to the Kicker L5's and a pair of 15" Massive audio Refrence seires with a 1500watt amp... all im sayin is that this sub ****in blew past my expectations. Of course now im workin on a RE XXX 18, because now that i have the taste of what that single 12 can do i... want to kill small children.

95F150, who are you to talk? Just because he's running a low-powered setup doesn't mean it can't be loud. PR's are the best budget sub out there IMO. You won't find anything in it's price range that'll top it. Be happy for the kid, it's his first system and he likes it. PR's would walk all over your Pioneers you have now, so why don't you stfu before you open your mouth and talk about products you have no experience with.

I'm sorry but if a 12" PR with 150 watts makes you sick then you shouldn't be into car audio.
