xxx ,w7,L7

if u where going to run with 1 sub what one of these 3 and why?Using a 1200.1 amp

also i'm putting it in a 90 talon i'm going for spl what should i tune it to?I'm kind of fuzzy on tuning a box so please give me some input.thanks for the help everybody

i'd go with the XXX, just my preference though. i wasn't impressed with the L7, and the W7 costs too much

well then, i guess it's unanimous(sp?), the XXX wins by a long shot, unless u wanna add a brahma to your list...

l7 couldnt handle the power and the w7 might struggle too. with that amp...definantly xxx

L7 would handle the power but would need a good SPL box...The w7 would handle that amount of wattage pretty easy...But I the xxx would handle that REALLY easy and is built more for SPL and couldnt easily take the l7 and the w7..So your best bet is to shoot for the xxx..I have one and lemme tell u...it will pretty much Kill any l7 or w7 placed next to it..Just to make more of an overkill..Put the xxx in a ported box tuned for all-out SPL..HE HE HE..You should be pretty satisfied with that!

I am currently runnning a XXX with a 1200.1. I just got it and i havent really been able to put all that much power through it yet, but i LOVE what i have gave it so far. It's in about a 2^3ft sealed box. i am drawing plans for my ported box as we speak. I think im gonna make it 4^3ft, before displacement, tuned to 32 hz. Should i go to a higher hz for SPL? My car's freq. is 38hz. let me know what you think would work best.

30-35 Hz
