XXX vs. Magnum..

since the xxx is power hungry, and i dont want to drop the money into a new alternator, im looking at getting a magnum..seeing as they like 1200 watts, compared to the xxx at 2000 watts. which is louder by ear? which puts up better numbers in a direct swap? im more of a sq guy but i like it when my ears hurt //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Youd be better off, and spend less money, if you were just to upgrade your electrical setup.

If you like the XXX and amp you have powering it, no real need to change.

Chances are youll need to upgrade the electrical at some point anyway.

actually i use magnums all the time. its funny me and my friend only use them and sometimes our other friends will be like i need a condom and we will be like you can't use a magnum and then the girl will start laughing.

these questions are so open ended.....obviously with the more excursion and power handling the xxx has the ability to get louder but come on if you stick it in a crappy box you will get the same performance...both drivers are good, it all depends on what you wanting...i havent compared the two as far as sq goes so iono which will sound better...Im doing the '06 xxx because i can only do 1 12" and wanted the most performance from a single driver.
