XXX vs germanium

as title says how would the germaniums compare i dont hear to much of xxx ne more so just wanted to see how they would compare. i am leading towards the germs b/c of all the reviews but the xxxs:yumyum: look awfully sesy.

yea i just remember the xxxs being all the rage and now i see nothing but germs. and the xxxs are $150 more so just wanted to see if neone had ne experience with them

really lookin strickley for sq and i dont think a spl is a factor for ne one when dealin with comps

The XXX Subwoofers were all the rage, The XXX comps were too i guess. But they are complete garbage.

I bet that 06 XXX will meter higher than the Germs.

While you have been reading atleast somewhat you are mistaken in your estimations. First off you are talking about a Subwoofer (the 06 XXX) vs. a Componet set (the germs) we of couse know the issues with this. Although i am glad you care. Please keep researching, and learning. However i would suggest you not post until you have larend alot more. No offense intended. PM me and i will give you ways to contact us.

The GERMS are clearly your choice then. XXX mids are only useful for SPL. And sound incredilby MUDDY. They have also not proven themselves in any way to be a superior SPL Midwoofer.

well that clears it up i was about to order the germs and saw a pic of the xxxs and second guessed my self so im glad i found this out. cant wait for the **** germs to get in i just got my fi Q today and i have been oggling all day.

Well, although the FiQ is a great driver. would've waited to get it tilli shopped. What do you like in speakers, warm sound or pierce? I go for warm sound.

i dont really understand the q part of your post but i like warmer set ups but not to warm. i have really sensetive ears and bright tweeters kill me.

Not sure about that, side by side, the looks of those rainbows look very nice.
