Today I was making a right turn into a pharmacy and I hit a curb with my right rear tire. I wasn't going fast at all, probably a max of 10mph. I went in the store, came out and I noticed my sub wasn't as loud as it was before. I have a 12" XXX dual 2-ohm and an Orion 1200D. I checked the impedance of the sub with a DMM and it was 1.5 ohms. I unhooked the sub from the amp and checked to see how many volts the amp was putting out with a test tone and it seemed fine. Before this happened, the sub read 1.1-1.3 ohms. I didn't have time tonight to take the sub out of the box and check the wires. Could some of the wires inside the speaker box came loose or do I have another problem? Thanks.

I'd definitly check the wires, considering its a dual VC sub, if one VC isnt hooked up, it would hurt SPL quite a bit, thats the most logical thing to me.

maybe one rca plug came out... someone had a similar prob and it was an RCA. but of course you gotta check all the wiring. rca, power, ground, speaker.
