According to RE they need to be out in enclosures. Thats just what they said!

Indeed. From what ive heard, IB will not yeild the best results for these beasts.

yes the guy i talked to on the phone said that in a stock compartment for a door speaker the RE and the XXX will be about the same but if you put the xxx in say a kick pannel than it will give you some killer mids however the Re series will play vocals like a mad man. as was i told when i called

Hmm....

So u think XXXComps for Midbass and REComps for vocal??

Or just stick with XXXComps, 1-2 in the door, 1 in kick panel each side?
