XXX 12" or 13W7 on KX1200.1

Hello to all I'm new here. I'm building my system and I can't decide on my subs. I have a Kicker KX1200.1 for the sub. I wish to use a single 12" ported or sealed. I want deep clean sound. I want SQ 70% and 30% SPL. I was considering the JL 13W7 or the XXX 12". I'm also open to suggestions. Great site by the way lots of reading material.

they are both great subs. the W7 has greater sound quality to my ears, but it may be different to you. i think mostly it will come down to the price. however much you want to spend. they are for two completly different budgets.

Yes I understand these are completely different costs. Does the XXX perform equally in the SQ and SPL and negate the cost of the JL. I aslo need to know if I have enough power for the XXX with my 1200.1 . I know it's fine for the JL 13W7. I here the XXX 12" needs tons of power.

they do handle more power than the w7...whether or not they NEED more is up to you...i personally think a 12xxx w/ 1200 going to it would be great for sq.....and imo i think that the 12xxx is a better dollar/value product than the w7......but that depends on how much you can get the w7 for

1200 watts will be fine for either sub.

XXX will perform fine on that amp...
