XTR PRO 2400 @ 1ohm off a solid electrical?

They are beastly amps, definitely do rated power. A guy i work with i installed one for him in an 06 F-150 w/ big 3, kinetik 1400 and 2400. He generally won't drop below 12.8v or so even at full tilt, last i heard he only had good things to say about it.

1 ohm daily?

It's getting late and i forgot to put down he has a 250amp EA Alt along w/ the other electrical upgrades i put down too.

Yes, it is run @ 1ohm off 2 12" RE MX... Its in a 5.5ft3 @ 32hz enclosure and is one of the better sounding setups i've ever heard. Thing gets pretty loud too and just destroys the lows.

I had mine off a Kinetik 1800 and no name equivalent to another 1800 and a stock 70 amp alt. of course things would dim but the amp never got hot really or anything and it ran like a champ for a long time, wouldn't recommend this small of an electrical obviously but that's my experience.

If that is the older XTR amp it is a solid amp but will heat up at 1 ohm and even go into protect, i would not personally risk it.
yes its the older kind. what kind of electrical did you experience this with?
