xover question please help

ok say some lady with no insurance just totalled my car and i bought a 1990 4runner and had sold all my old equipment to help myself out financially. i like all good installers didnt get rid of my "cool" stash of stuff. what i have is a 4channel Orion XTR500.4, a PG 215 2ch 15band EQ, and a set of Crossfire BMF 6.5" mids.

1. i need some good but cheap tweeters pref:$20-40

2. i need to know if the amp set at highpass for the mids and the tweets will be sufficient using the PG215?

3. does anyone have or know someone that has an old set of xovers for good price or can piece something together for me on partsexpress.$20-40

usually i have more money to spend but i need a budget of $40-80

no one's touching this one.

Typically, the HPF on an amp is to kill out low freq stuff. I don't know the specifics on that particular amp. I think PE would be a good place to start. Might try ripping open some 2 way home speakers and see what's inside?? caps inline??

cool well i just got a check from my insurance so my possibilities have grown but i need more input.i really want to make this work and step out of the regular installer realm of buying a kit.

is the pg a two channel amp or 4? 4 would be less amps to deal with...mids outta 2, highs outta two. but you'll need an active crossover.

you can find a guy on this board that WAS selling a coustic active XO. There's plenty to choose from out there.

there was a set of CDT tweets. the IEK kit for $25 shipped or something on here i believe too?
